The fuel pump relay was removed (there wasn’t one installed) and there was a hot wire from the fuse block to the green wire on the fuel pump relay which must have been making the fuel pump constantly run.

WebOct 9, 2024 · Plug the new relay in then go to the driver strut tower area and locate the self test connector,shown below.Once found,turn the key on/engine off,touch one end of a jumper wire to the neg battery terminal and touch the other end to the FP Trigger terminal at the self test connector.See if the pump begins running. There are 2 identical switches there and since I did not know which one was which I mark and pulled both and took them took Napa. Before going further make sure to check the inertia switch in the trunk area.
